Spent a wonderful evening having dinner and watching the moon rise at Salt & Sol! The food was delectable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this charming spot for a true Islander experience.

Taste: (4.5/5) I ordered the Crispy Salmon, and the flavor was delicate and light. The only minor drawback was the slightly soft crust, but overall, it was delightful. Price: The pricing is excellent for the quality and portion size. Truly value for money! Service: The staff were efficient and attentive, adding to the positive dining experience. Recommendation: If you're looking for another dish to try, I'd highly recommend their fish and chips. I had a taste from a friend's plate, and it was absolutely scrumptious!

Last minute, they were able to accommodate our group of 12, which included 6 adults and 6 kids. We were seated in a booth on the patio with a spectacular view of the water. The ambiance was amazing; with drapes gently swaying in the wind, it felt like we were somewhere down south. The same inviting atmosphere extended inside the restaurant as well. While we had lobster rolls in Nova Scotia, the ones here were significantly better—perhaps it’s a local specialty or a unique touch from this restaurant. The fries were also exceptional, easily the best we've ever tasted. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and she even recommended a few places to check out in P.E.I. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Arrived today at 6pm. Checked into our hotel and this was our first stop. Dinner was fantastic. Kirsten made the evening with her knowledge of menu/area, plus A personality. Enjoyed the beef tartare, chowder, fish & chips and lobster roll. Order any or all of them. Definitely make this a stop for lunch or dinner. Came back for dinner Sat night. Kate was very attentive to our requests. Tried the seared tuna and greek goddess. Wonderful dinner. Appreciate Jenna as she greeted us at the door to begin our fantastic evening.

The service was excellent! The view was great! The food was delicious. My wife discovered she likes mussels after trying theirs; I absolutely recommend them. They even help you find a place if you want something they don't have on the menu. Good selection of craft beers too. They even give you a blanket if you want to stay and sip your beer and talk once the sun sets. We can't go to Charlottetown without going there!!

Let's start off by saying, this is the best service at a restaurant I've gotten in a long time! The staff is really friendly! Showed up with my partner and said we could sit anywhere, so we took the couch with what id say the nicest view! The waitress brought us a blanket which was really nice of her. The food was delicious and the drinks had been great as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone as the prices are very reasonable.

On travel with a tour group, I've been trying lots of Nova Scotia chowder and Salt & Sol's wins top place in my ranking! Really creamy broth with delicious mussels, chunks of fresh fish, with a good blueberry ale . The 2nd floor porch looking out on the water gives you an amazing view. Thanks for a great meal!

Good service, great food and an amazing and calm view. Love that they carry local beers, a great way to taste test some. The seafood here is pretty fresh and not overly seasoned.
